By booking our packers and movers services, you agree to comply with the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before availing our services.

1. General Terms

  • These terms apply to all packing, moving, loading, unloading, transportation, and storage services provided by South Packers and Movers of India.
  • All quotations are based on the inventory provided by the customer. Additional items may incur extra charges.
  • Booking is confirmed only upon receipt of advance payment and signed consent form.
  • The customer must be the legal owner or authorized representative of the goods being moved.
  • Estimated delivery times are approximate and may vary due to traffic, weather, or unforeseen circumstances.
  • The Company reserves the right to modify these terms at any time with prior notification.

2. Customer Responsibilities

Before Moving

  • Provide accurate and complete inventory of goods
  • Disclose any valuable, fragile, or special items
  • Obtain necessary permissions from society/landlord
  • Arrange parking space for loading vehicles
  • Disconnect appliances before moving day

During & After Moving

  • Be present at origin and destination locations
  • Check and verify inventory at the time of delivery
  • Report any damage immediately upon delivery
  • Sign the delivery receipt after verification
  • Complete payment as per agreed terms
Prohibited Items: Hazardous materials, explosives, flammable liquids, illegal substances, perishable food items, live animals, and plants (for long distance) are strictly prohibited.

3. Liability & Claims

We Are Liable For
  • Damage caused during transit due to our negligence
  • Items packed by our professional team
  • Loss due to accidents during transportation
  • Covered items under transit insurance (if opted)
We Are Not Liable For
  • Items packed by the customer (owner-packed boxes)
  • Pre-existing damage or inherent defects
  • Jewelry, cash, documents, and undisclosed valuables
  • Delays due to natural disasters or force majeure
Claim Procedure
  1. Inspect all items upon delivery and note any damage on the delivery receipt.
  2. Take photographs of damaged items as evidence.
  3. Submit a written claim with photos within 7 days of delivery.
  4. Claims will be processed within 15-30 business days after verification.
4. Cancellation & Payment
Cancellation Policy
  • Cancellation charges apply based on notice period provided.
  • Earlier notice results in higher refund percentage.
  • Same-day cancellation may result in forfeiture of advance.
  • One free rescheduling allowed with 48 hours advance notice.
  • Refunds processed within 7-10 business days.
Payment Terms
  • Advance payment required at the time of booking.
  • Remaining balance due before unloading at destination.
  • Accepted: Cash, Bank Transfer, UPI, Cards, Cheque.
  • All payments to be made to official company accounts only.
  • GST and applicable taxes as per quotation.
Important: Goods will not be unloaded until full payment is received. Storage charges will apply for delayed payments after delivery.
